ARGUMENTATIVE

 

This type of discourse is based on valid logic and, through correct reasoning tries to motivate the audience.

Examples of argumentative discourse include lectures, essays, and prose.

 

The arguments which go the issuer must be supported rationally, should sound convincing, do not overwhelm the receiver, but this feels a universal truth is transmitted. The structure of this kind of discourse consists of a thesis or idea to demonstrate that arises at first, then the arguments and finally the conclusion set out in the initial but with rational justifications and exposed reaffirms idea.
