Rhetorical Patters

Introduction

Rhetorical patterns are ways of organizing information. They are also described as tecniques used by writters, or in some cases, speakers to communicae ideas i a particular way. Readers or listeners use an understanding of rhetorical patternsto to try to develop a closer analysis of what writers or speakers are trying to express.

Therefore, rhetorical patterns help readers identify the goals and intent of the witer. This can be very useful in academic or tecnical analysis of a text. Readers often highlight, circle, or underline the patterns that they find in a text to study that text further and provide an intelligent response.
